Position Overview:

The Product Management Senior Manager, Commercial Systems will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the strategic direction of our commercial audio solutions. This leadership position requires a deep understanding of the global commercial audio industry, competitive landscape, and how life safety, mass notification, and video reinforcement influence audio system selection across diverse markets. As a Product Management Senior Manager, you will act as an ambassador, taking full ownership of our commercial systems success from concept through to market adoption. We are seeking someone who thinks outside the box, brings fresh and innovative approaches, and applies a systems-thinking mindset to understand how different technologies integrate to create compelling and complete solutions. The ideal candidate will also have a strong outside-in, customer-centric approach, with a focus on deeply understanding and addressing the needs of our channel partners and end users.The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation and the ability to translate global market needs into comprehensive system solutions. The Product Management Senior Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure the successful delivery and adoption of products that address the evolving needs of the commercial sector worldwide.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Vision: Define and lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with company objectives and market needs.
  • Product Development: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring innovative solutions that integrate DSP and unified communications effectively.
  • Global Industry Insight: Utilize a deep understanding of the global commercial audio industry, including life safety, mass notification, and video reinforcement, to identify market opportunities, threats, and areas where our systems can stand out across different regions.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Champion a customer-first mindset, ensuring products meet and exceed customer expectations through an outside-in approach.
  • Systems Thinking: Apply a holistic approach to product development, integrating various technologies into cohesive, complete solutions.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Act as an ambassador and mini-CEO of your product line, leading cross-functional teams, and fostering a culture of creativity and innovation.
  • Market Insight: Leverage industry knowledge and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities, drive differentiation, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate product progress and strategy to senior leadership and key stakeholders, advocating for your product's vision and performance.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; or equivalent work training experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or product marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the professional audio industry or a closely related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex technology products from concept to market.
  • Deep understanding of audio technologies, digital signal processing, unified communications, systems thinking, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong ability to think creatively, challenge conventional methods, and inspire innovative solutions.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse teams.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and tools.
  • Passion for audio technology and a deep commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
