Company Overview:

Bose Professional is a leader in the professional audio industry, specializing in the design and manufacturing of cutting-edge audio solutions including loudspeakers, amplifiers, signal processing devices, controls, software, and accessories. As we continue to expand our team, we are seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer, Southeast US (TSE) to join us on our journey.

We have organized ourselves culturally around a set of shared values. We are a team first, which means we are collaborative and support each other toward our common goals. We start everything from the outside in, starting with the customer and solving from there. We value trust, so we are a company of people who are open and direct, avoid politics, and who do what it takes to deliver on our commitments. And as we work together, we are empathetic, courteous, and fair, because we respect each other. Finally, we believe that creativity and innovation belong in all parts of the company in order to drive excellence in everything we do.

Position Overview:

Are you a deeply technical AV professional who loves solving complex system design challenges, building partner confidence, moving high-value opportunities forward, and turning hard-won field experience into content that makes an entire market smarter? Do you believe that real technical credibility comes from someone who has actually done the work? We're looking for a Technical Solutions Engineer to do exactly that.

The Technical Solutions Engineer is the trusted technical voice of the market. This role exists to help rep firms, distributors, dealers, consultants, integrators, and key accounts design better systems, specify with greater confidence, deploy with fewer mistakes, and trust that Bose Professional is deeply capable when the work becomes more complex.

You’ll move fast between modes: coaching a partner through a system design, running a live demo, supporting a high-value opportunity, influencing a consultant who shapes specifications before the bid is written, and then turning all of it into scalable technical content that keeps teaching long after you’ve left the room. You’ll also work closely with Product Management from the front end of ideation through launch and bringing field instincts and practical customer insight into product development. This is a revenue-enabling technical role for someone who has earned their stripes in the field and is ready to use them at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the trusted technical voice for our channel partners and key end clients
  • Accelerate live opportunities through design support, solution validation, demonstrations, listening sessions, proof-of-performance, and technical objection handling that reduce risk and drive conversion on the deals that matter most.
  • Create technical content that scales field expertise — short-form videos, YouTube-style explainers, application notes, FAQs, competitive battle cards, demo scripts, and technical playbooks
  • Coach channel partners through real system design challenges, helping them spec solutions correctly, avoid costly deployment mistakes, and build the technical confidence to sell and deploy
  • Deliver hands-on technical enablement — in-person workshops, webinars, lunch-and-learns, and structured field sessions — for channel partners
  • Lead NPI technical readiness by building channel-ready resources and partnering with Product Management
  • Maintain deep hands-on proficiency across the full Bose Professional portfolio: loudspeakers, amplifiers, DSP, controls, software, accessories, and the Fusion ecosystem, including system design and tuning tools.
  • Support Company objectives by completing additional tasks as needed

Functional Priorities:

This role will typically focus on:

  • 30% Account and rep firm technical enablement and training
  • 30% Account and rep firm solution assistance and active opportunity support
  • 20% New product introduction execution and Product Management collaboration
  • 20% Market development and scaled technical influence

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in professional audio, AV systems, applications engineering, systems engineering, technical sales, or related hands-on technical roles in a B2B environment.
  • Deep working knowledge of professional audio systems: loudspeakers, amplifiers, DSP, signal flow, system design, networking (Dante, AES67, AVB), controls, and installed AV applications.
  • Proven ability to support active sales opportunities through technical guidance
  • Demonstrated experience influencing consultants, specifiers, and technical decision-makers through direct engagement, design guidance, and trusted technical presence.
  • Hands-on experience with system design and tuning tools (e.g., Modeler, EASE, or equivalent) and DSP/control platforms such as ControlSpace, CSP, or comparable systems.
  • Experience creating technical content — webinars, short-form videos, application guides, design notes, FAQs, battle cards, demo scripts, or technical playbooks
  • Comfortable appearing on camera and producing digital content (YouTube-style explainers, technical videos, recorded webinars).
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to lead demos, workshops, customer meetings, and discussions across both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience supporting new product launches, including technical readiness content, channel enablement, and field adoption support.
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Training, and Engineering.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 50% in support of field demos, account engagement, partner enablement, and training events.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in audio engineering, electrical engineering, AV technology, computer science, or a related field.

Bose Professional is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in the workplace. We encourage all qualified individuals to apply.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
