Position Overview:
We seek an experienced and results-oriented Software Project Engineer to lead complex, cross-functional software projects within our Engineering organization. This role requires a strong technical background, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering customer-facing applications, cloud services or other technical projects on time.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and closure of multiple concurrent software projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including work breakdown structures (WBS), timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating critical issues to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Track project progress, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular status reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Act as our Scrum master and maintain project management best practices and methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
  • Participate in creating and maintaining new product development processes.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) of Mobile, Web Applications and Web Services.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and tools (Jira, Confluence).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience managing geographically distributed teams and open to working closely with team members located in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Installed Audio industry or Gaming industry.
  • Experience with managing a small team.
  • Knowledge of cloud services like AWS and embedded systems.
