Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative IT QA Engineer to join our global IT team. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of enterprise software solutions through structured testing processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with business users and developers to create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans for both enhancement and implementation projects for our ERP, CRM, and other key enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand processes and requirements to translate them into effective test plans for quality assurance.
- Design, implement, and maintain manual and automated testing strategies for enterprise applications with key focus on ERP.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Track and manage defects using Jira, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with development teams.
- Continuously improve QA processes and tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage of Enterprise systems.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve application usability and performance.
- Develop and maintain user documentation to support applications, encourage best practices, and drive feature adoption.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and best practices in software testing.
- Support Company objectives by completing additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in QA engineering, preferably within enterprise software environments.
- Strong experience working directly with business users to define and validate test scenarios.
- Proficiency in Jira for issue tracking and test management.
- Experience testing enterprise platforms such as ERP and CRM.
- Experience with test automation tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, TestRail, Postman).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with nuances of global financial systems.
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
- Knowledge of SQL and data validation techniques.
