Position Overview: The Regional Sales Manager, Western US plays a pivotal role in driving the achievement of sales targets and revenue goals set forth by the company, while also fostering the professional growth and development of the sales team. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for formulating and implementing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and cultivating strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the assigned region. Additionally, the Regional Sales Manager is tasked with analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and making informed recommendations to optimize sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets, providing coaching, guidance, and ongoing performance feedback.
Function as the direct salesperson in territories as needed.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including market expansion and penetration strategies.
Collaborate with marketing to develop and implement effective sales and promotional campaigns to drive revenue growth.
Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the market landscape.
Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the company's visibility and market presence.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the sales team, processes, and systems to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, including pipeline, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs, to make data-driven decisions and adjustments.
Work closely with cross-functional teams such as sales engineering, operations, and technical support to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of efforts.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Qualifications:
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals in professional audio market with 5 years of experience.
Strong preference for experience and existing relationships in specific verticals: Themed Entertainment, Higher Education, Retail/Restaurant, Hospitality, Corporate, and House of Worship.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
Experience in formulating and implementing sales strategies to capture market opportunities.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and identify trends to inform decision-making.
Ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Knowledge of sales techniques, customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
