Position Overview: Bose Professional seeks a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead engineering and development projects. This key role will drive initiatives in product development, cost reduction, enhancements, and variant introductions while fostering a collaborative, supportive team culture. Responsibilities include managing external hardware and software partnerships with detailed project and financial planning. Key Responsibilities:
Foster collaborative cross-functional communication encompassing engineering, operations, design teams, and our contract manufacturers, all aligned with the ambitious objectives of quality, schedule, and cost.
Provide targeted status updates at various levels, spanning from individual contributors to executive management.
Engage in issue resolution, overseeing progress tracking, prioritizing field analysis, pinpointing root causes, and collaborating with cross-functional counterparts to implement necessary corrective measures.
Establish and uphold efficient program schedules by mitigating setbacks and devising enhanced strategies.
Engage and manage external hardware and software partnerships, including supplier selection, reviews, and contracts.
Required Skills:
Experience as a Program Manager, Project Manager, or similar role.
Highly organized managing documentation for multiple complex projects and tasks simultaneously.
Self-starter who can recognize issues and potential problems and respond appropriately.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional technical teams and management.
Demonstrates strong decision-making skills by assessing complex project challenges quickly and choosing effective solutions to maintain project momentum.
Must be comfortable reaching out to internal and external senior management directly.
Experienced with the standardization of project plans, schedules, and other PMO-centric templates.
Ability to respond to and create technical contracts as needed such as SOWs and RFQs
Direct experience in electronic hardware/software development lifecycle
Track record of driving standardized behavior within an engineering community and ensuring adherence to standards
Utilize various tools and systems such as JIRA, MS Office Suite, Confluence, Windchill, Monday, etc.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years' experience in Product Development, preferably in consumer electronics or acoustics.
2 to 3 years' experience within Program/Project Management role.
BS in Engineering required, MS in Engineering or MBA preferred.
PMP or other Project Management certification is advantageous.
Work Location:
Shenzhen
May need to travel frequently to Shenzhen supplier base and on project requests.
