Position Overview:
Bose Professional is looking for a Software Engineer in Test with a good understanding of Python and experience working with distributed systems test frameworks. In this role you are responsible for creating, enhancing, and marinating the automation framework and automation tests for new-generation AV systems.


Qualifications:
  • Good knowledge of Python and object-orientated design with at least 2 years professional experience 
  • Hands-on experience creating automated system tests – preferably software applications controlling networked hardware devices across multiple platforms 
  • Experience using automated desktop/web GUI testing tools (Test Complete, Selenium or similar) 
  • Experience with automated API testing for web and hardware devices 
  • Working knowledge of both Windows OS and macOS, with the ability to perform command line operations on both. 
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills (in English) 
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Understanding of ethernet-based computer networking. 
  • Experience creating automated tests for mobile applications (using Appium or similar) 
  • Experience with Git, Confluence, Test Trail or Similar systems. 
  • Basic understanding of electronics and audio/video connections. 
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
