Position Overview: As a Sales Operations Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and supporting business intelligence, analysis and reporting solutions. This team member will be responsible for data modeling, designing, and developing reporting solutions in a Microsoft tools environment.
To be successful as a reporting analyst, you should be able to meet with business users and management to create requirement documents for reporting needs. You can also generate useful deductions from raw information. A top-notch reporting analyst will continually create and modify databases to meet the needs of our expanding company.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate stakeholder requirements into reporting deliverables
Gather and synthesize data from a myriad of sources, building unified data models that feed multiple needs.
Create and deliver management dashboards and canned reports to establish superior operational reporting within Sales, Marketing, Service, Logistics, and Sales Operations.
Create and deliver routine and ad hoc reporting as needed
Report on insights obtained, which might be utilized to inform business strategies.
Support, maintenance and/or building of SQL Databases to support operational needs
Provide feedback to data source providers on the consistency, hierarchy, or areas of uncertainty within the data, to promote optimal use of data
Routinely check and clean data, taking special care to replace erroneous values with correct figures.
Partner with IT to manage our Reporting Tech Stack by
Working with Development team on system enhancements
Participate in evaluating new technologies so as to ensure the advancement of technology architecture and data within organization
Support Company objectives by completing additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
3-5 years’ demonstrable experience as a reporting analyst.
Extensive experience in PowerBI (or another analytics software), Excel, and Sharepoint software.
Demonstrated experience with VBA, SQL Server Databases and SQL Server Reporting Services preferred.
Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM a plus.
Familiarity with metadata, data organization, data quality assessment and data profiling
Familiarity with accounting and finance practices and principles
Ability to communicate with business users and management of all levels
Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail.
Creative, responsive, and adaptive in a dynamic environment; the aptitude and desire to learn new competencies and skills
