Position Overview:
Bose Professional is seeking an HR & Payroll Assistant to join our People & Culture department, reporting directly to the Manager People Ops EMEA & Global Payroll. This role will assist in managing and processing all payrolls for our company across multiple countries, utilizing various payroll methods and will contribute to the daily operations of People & Culture in the EMEA region. The ideal candidate should possess an understanding of global payroll regulations and HR operations. The HR & Payroll Assistant will collaborate closely with the People & Culture team members as well as our Finance department, while ensuring accurate and timely payroll and HR operations while maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Act as advisor to employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and compliance matters.
- Promote positive employee relations and facilitate effective communication channels.
- Reporting: Assist in creation of regular reports and updates on HR metrics.
- Collaborate with the Manager People Ops EMEA & Global Payroll to analyze data and identify trends or areas for improvement.
- Multicultural Experience: Demonstrate cross-cultural competence and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams across various countries and regions.
- Compliance and Legal Knowledge: Stay updated on employment laws, regulations, and data privacy requirements in relevant countries.
- Support Company objectives by completing additional tasks as needed
- Assist with processing payroll on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis
- Ensure accuracy of employee time sheets, attendance, and leave records
- Maintain and update payroll information in relevant systems
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with year-end payroll reporting, including tax forms (e.g., W-2s, P60s, T4s, etc. depending on country)
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations
- Administration of employee benefits
- Support recruitment and onboarding processes, including document collection and system setup
- Respond to routine employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and internal communications
- Support HR reporting and analysis (e.g., turnover rates, absence reports)
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in an HR or payroll support role
- Knowledge of payroll processes and employment legislation
- Familiarity with payroll software and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, SAP, Workday etc.)
- Strong Excel skills and experience handling sensitive data
- Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English and Dutch is required. Fluency in other languages relevant to the regions covered (e.g., German, French) is highly desirable.
