Role Overview:
The Channel Marketing Specialist will be an integral part of the Export organization at Bose Professional. The focus of the role will be to implement and execute marketing strategies and activities in the Distributor Manager Markets to support the export sales organization. Success in this role also requires taking initiatives and applying a global strategy to sales and marketing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for marketing lead, including PR, advertising, marketing resources, newsletters, exhibitions
  • Organize exhibitions if any would happen in the region (advertising and social media support, logistics and travel booking, measure ROI)
  • Monitor budgets
  • Local purchase of goods and services as per approval matrix
  • Produce marketing materials for local use e.g. at fairs, events, for sales rep (brochures, flyer etc.)
  • Select and order giveaways as per brand guidelines
  • Keep record of marketing material stocks
  • Prepare, organize and execute sales team events/team meetings  as well as distributor and reseller meetings and events
  • Finalize quarterly marketing plan together with distributors in collaboration with account managers.
  • Proactively contact resellers and distributors to follow-up on marketing plan
  • Facilitate Quarterly Marketing fund process
  • Support customers with Bose Professional assets by creating and maintaining link from Bynder.
  • Support customers with knowledge of successful marketing activities
  • Partner with communication/distribution, e.g. Price changes, organizational changes, promotional activities
  • Communicate training offerings - classroom, online and webinar in close collaboration with the training team and local engineers
  • Manage participation list and sending out confirmations

Qualifications:
  • Pro-active individual, with channel marketing experience of working with distributors preferably in Pro AV Industry
  • Good business understanding preferably of India, South East Asia, and ANZ.
  • Knowledge of various editing, graphics related tools/software.
  • Needs to be motivated, setting high but achievable goals, and to demonstrate enthusiasm for the work at hand
  • Needs to demonstrate creativity in the development of innovative ideas
  • Needs good interpersonal skills, effective communicator at all levels with good listening and questioning skills, with ability to build good team/media relationships
  • Dependable team player, also able to work independently
  • Fluent English
  • Very good knowledge of MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Dynamics)
  • Knowledge of Email Marketing tools (MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc)
  • Experienced user and strong knowledge about Social Media (Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram, etc) and other online communication channels
